Last week, Perry reported her new single, "Lady's Reality," set to make a big appearance July 11, and another collection to follow 2020's "Grin."
The single will come almost two months after she closed down of "American Icon" as an adjudicator after seven seasons. In February, Perry reported on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" that she would bow out toward the finish of Season 22 to "take a brief trip and see the world and perhaps bring new music."
