Taylor Quick audit: Pop's catastrophe princess amazes in Edinburgh
After over a time of expectation, Taylor Quick's blockbuster Periods visit has at last arrived in the UK.
Pop's grievousness princess sent off the first of 17 English shows at Edinburgh's Murrayfield Arena where, without further ado prior to making that big appearance, she was wheeled into the field concealed inside a janitor's truck.
Properly enough, then, at that point, she cleaned the floor with her opposition - putting on a carefully paced, unendingly engaging show that charmed fans who'd come from as far away from home as Australia, Japan and America.
For three and a half hours, the star chronicled her excursions through nation and pop; love and misfortune; achievement and reputation - all as time characterizing hits like 22, Shake It Off, Ill will, Karma and Wannabe.
Not just that, she caused it her central goal to cause Scotland to feel exceptional.
"My one lament is that I truly ought to have come to play in Scotland more," she said close to the start of what was just her second-ever gig in the country.
