Father killed child, 2, subsequent to winning sole authority
A father killed his two-year-old child promptly after being conceded sole guardianship of him.
Daniel Hardcastle, 31, from Blackpool, exposed little child Damion Russell to a "horrendously savage" assault.
The baby was seen as lethargic at Focal Drive, Blackpool, on 19 August last year and kicked the bucket in emergency clinic.
Hardcastle was sentenced by a jury at Preston Crown Court and should serve something like 22 years in jail.

"The pathologist distinguished about 80 separate wounds at posthumous," she said.
During his preliminary Hardcastle said the baby had fallen and slammed his head against a foot stool.
