Serena Williams has an ESPY entertainment pageant praising milestone year for ladies' games
Driven by have Serena Williams, The ESPYS commended a milestone year for ladies' games, with Simone Biles, A'ja Wilson, Caitlin Clark, Day break Staley and JuJu Watkins among the honorees on Thursday night.
Staley, mentor of the public top dog South Carolina ladies' b-ball group, got the Jimmy V Honor for Persistence. Her companion, Tennessee champion Nicki McCray-Penson, passed on from bosom disease and Staley's sister was determined to have leukemia.

"I should admit I feel somewhat undeserving of this acknowledgment. Past beneficiaries of the Jimmy V Tirelessness Grant have confronted unbelievable difficulties and shown off their abilities as evident heroes," Staley said. "I have just been an observer to such huge fortitude and versatility."
Staley's Gamecocks won the best group grant.
Wilson of the Las Vegas Experts won as best ladies' games competitor and as best WNBA player.
"It's insane to believe that a little kid that would even not liked to play b-ball is currently up in the running for even one ESPY," she said in recorded comments.
The best men's games competitor was Kansas City Bosses quarterback Patrick Mahomes. He additionally asserted best NFL player.
